Amniocentesis.

So a couple of weeks back I posted saying that we'd had the quad test (for Down's syndrome etc). Our test came back as high risk of Down's at a risk ratio of 1:35! Clearly we were devistated and shocked to the core. We have fertility issues and I'm only 30 so never even occurred to us. We decided to go for the amnio. It was a procedure that had a risk of 1% miscarriage but a 100% yes or no. We prob wouldn't have decided to end the preg as we were 19 weeks already. It was a very uncomfortable and emotional procedure, one that I'd  never want to relive again!!! Well today we got the all clear on both scan and amnio test!!! I cannot tell you how relived and happy I am to say I'll be seeing my baby in Feb!!!! Anyone else going through this, there is hope!!
