Mirena??? Thoughts???

I've seen the recall commercials and everything but my doctor wants me on it asap. She said it will safely make my periods go away too without causing my risk of blood clots to go up. I haven't been able to get on it yet due to having chlamydia, but I need to get on something because my boyfriend hates condoms

I got the mirena 4-5 weeks ago and I bled for 25 days and I've put on a lot of weight in that month other than that I've had no other side effects but I will be getting it removed if it definitely is the mirena making me put on weight

I had it for 2 years, it was amazing! However I have an undersized uterus, as in when I go for an U.S. the technition has to double check that I'm not 10. So now I have Skyla, the smaller IUD intended for women who haven't had a child, teenagers and women like me.

I had the Mirena for 3 1/2 months and I hated it. It was fine at first but then I started to get side effects from it. And then I took it out and felt like myself again. But it is different for everyone.
