Pcos & getting pregnant?

Has anyone had any luck getting pregnant with pcos & mild type 2 diabetes? I was diagnosed in July with both, but have been ttc since last December 2014 with no luck. This month( September 2015) I was due to get my period on the 22nd and its October 5th now and no period still. Tested on 9/25 with a negative result. How soon again should I test? Any certain tests better than others?
