When do you tell your best friends?

Two of my closest friends are working in London, and they only come back once a year. One friend is coming back in november for her wedding and i'll be 11 weeks at that time. I was thinking of waiting after the first trimester before i tell anyone, only my hubby knows. Also i have a feeling my friend might not be too excited for the pregnancy cos she just got married and she might feel like "i'm moving on without her"? Sounds crazy but i got married 3years ago and she said you shouldnt get pregnant so fast, we should be pregnant at the same time. so im like...what...im not gonna wait for you lol. it's been 3 years. I dont want to assume the worse in people and i hope she will be happy with the news. Also i feel like if i dont tell her face to face she'd be like what why didnt you tell me when i was back home? Thoughts on this please.. :)
