Is this normal

Hi ladies. So I had one dose of the depo shot back in may and I bleed forever. Didn't get the next shot, but had a period that lasted almost 2 weeks in august. Now I have had nothing. Shouldn't I have another one since they have started or can they stop since I'm no longer on birth control and breastfeeding a bit. My daugther is 7 months and on solids. On gets breastfed between meals. Thanks in advance :)
