Birth Control

Hi guys!😊 I am currently exploring methods of birth control besides a condom. I used to be on the pill a long time ago, I would try it again but I recently saw some info about side effects online that really scared me. Basically girls have passed away from several medical complications that began by using the pill. So does anyone know if it's still safe of do you guys have any their suggestions?
