My husband and I have been married 2 years and in that time he has been fired from 3 jobs for calling in too much. When he was unemployed he sat around wouldn't do anything or keep our yard up nothing he just sat and played his video games all day. I had to put in job apps and each time I finally would get him a job.

Well now I got him a job that's 5 min from home its day shift. He's been doing good about not staying up all night (he is going to bed about 8pm now) and he gets up in the mornings on his own (before I would have to wake him up or call a million times from my job to wake him up to go to work) he seems to be doing really good!!!

But... He called in yesterday because he has sore muscles in his stomach from his PT test for the military. My dad also works there and the boss told my dad that if he calls in again he will be fired. I threatened several months ago that if he got fired for call ins or coming home "sick" again I would leave him. My dad knows and he said "I sure hope you will stand by what you said if he gets fired again" it really has me nervous and upset. I love my husband but I just can't keep supporting a man who refuses to do anything. :(
