How long can LH Surge last?

Question

Ok ladies...weirdness over here.  I'm on day 4 of positive LH Surge with ovulation tests.  I even switched brands thinking the ones I used for day 1 and 2 might be defective.  Anybody else have experience with this? Ideas as to why?

Try a pregnancy test.  Those test will also read positive if you are pregnant.  Same thing happened to me and now a have a 2 year old;)

I know I'm a little late to this party, but I just wanted to add my own experience and maybe it will help. I've used the Clearblue Digital OPK's last two cycles, and last cycle I had no problems with it. I got 2 days of high fertility (flashing smiley faces) followed by my peak (solid smiley), after which I stopped testing. The following cycle (the one I'm currently on: 3dpo today), I never got my peak. I got 4 days of flashing smiley faces in a row & then I ran out of tests. It was really discouraging, and at first I thought maybe I was having an anovulatory cycle. However, the following morning, I had a significant rise in my bbt, which makes me think this is the day I would have gotten my solid smiley face had I been able to continue testing. With the way my temps have risen, I'm confident now that I did ovulate, I just think that for whatever reason, I just had more high days leading up to O than I've had previously. Could be just hormone fluctuations, but I think if you're able to continue testing you'll eventually see your Peak. Hope this helps in some way, but yes, it's all so very confusing sometimes!

I normally cam test postive fo 3 days..however  this month  I've been testing twice a day, yesterday at 2pm it was negative,  at 9pm it was positive  and by this am negative again!?

I've had positive opks since Friday night (I test 2x a day) and again this am!!! That's 3 days so I'm confused as well !

I read the surge only lasts for 2 days but who knows! Either way BP just incase! Are you doing BBT too?
