Partial placental abruption 26 weeks RH negative
I was admitted to hospital yesterday after suffering a fall at work. CTG monitoring of the baby showed he was fine and moving, but my bloodwork confirmed that 2.7ml of fetal blood had mixed into my system, which they believe is due to partial separation of the placenta. After administering the rhogam shot (as I'm A- blood group), they sent me home, despite telling me earlier that they would keep me in for monitoring and do an ultrasound to check on the placenta.
I can't help but be worried that I'm still bleeding (as it's internal) and that my son is not okay. I'm only 26 weeks, but I haven't really felt him move much since, except for when hooked up to the CTG machine, and I'm still tender in the stomach and have crazy back pain. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Will it affect the likelyhood of having a full term birth? And should I go back into the hospital if I'm still anxious?
