Bleeding?

I am 4 weeks and 3 days pregnant. I started spotting a couple of days ago (brown)... This morning I actually started bleeding bright red, enough to fill a panty liner but not as much as my period... Anyone else experience this? I did call my dr and they will do blood work Monday, but I am obviously an emotional wreck right now... Anyone experience anything similar?

Yes, I spotted on and off for an entire month from 4 to 8 weeks. I was an absolute mess because I had miscarried 2 months prior. The doctors checked my levels and they more than doubled in two days and did not give me a clear explanation as to why I was bleeding. They just said it could have been that my cervix was overly sensitive because the extra blood flow to that area and put me on pelvic rest for a while. Please try not to worry. I know that is easier said than done, but stress is not good for you and your baby this early. I'm now 22+ weeks with a very healthy baby girl. Good luck and I hope everything goes well for you.

Thank you! I called my OB he said I didn't need to go to the ER to wait until Monday to do blood work. So I'm just trying to relax and pray! Thanks again!

Try to rest and relax. Go to the er if you can. Bright red is not normal. Best wishes to you both!

I got my period on my first month and then I got a spotting, thanks god it was just an urinal infeccion.
