UTIs and sex?

I always get water infections after sex. I'm constantly on antibiotics! I've been to the hospital and had scans and nothing came up as abnormal...yet everytime I get them! Usually I'm more prone to them whilst using condoms, but even without I still get them.

Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone have any tips and tricks?

Pee before and after. Also ask your doctor about a pill you can take before and after sex to prevent them. I have them and they work. I have the same issue as you. But those pills work wonders.

- going to the bathroom before and after inter course 
- extra lubrication (friction can cause irritation) 
- cotton underwear
- wash vulva with warm water but do not douche

Question: I know UTIs cause kidney damage .. How soon after do they do that? I'm not sure if I have a UTI but I feel like I do. I should be going to the doctor in a day or two to check and get treatment if so.

Yeah, I get them all the time. I found once having sex going to the toilet helped :)
