Polysystic ovaries - Help please??

Question

Anyone with Polysystic Ovaries that have excessive hair growth can help me?

How do you help reduce it? A few months ago, I became desperate because I thought everyone could see it on my neck, so I shaved it. Now I realise that I made the biggest mistake in my life and now i have to do it every 2-3 days... Anyone got any advice?x

I went to the gynecologist and my doctor put me on Spironolactone which is supposed to reduce your excess hair growth but it starts working 6 months after you start taking it and I've been taking it for about a year. I don't really notice any changes tbh but it could be working. It probably slows the process of it growing. All that I can do is pluck the hairs and shave because that's all I know to do. I would just recommend asking your gynecologist and ask for her opinion. Sorry I couldn't be more help :(

My cousin has it and has hair on her chin. She kinda owns it and just shaves or has it waxed. Don't be embarrassed! It's just hair! 😉
