What baby equipment will you really use

What baby equipment do you think will be the most useful or that you have used the most if you already have children? I received a bouncer a rock and play a pack and play and a bassinet all at my baby shower. I am going to get a crib. However I was wondering if I should purchase a swing also? Or is the bouncer and the rock and play enough?

I think my two things are the bouncer and the ergo baby carrier.... I plan on using the carier MUCH more than the stroller..... :)

We had pretty much everything except for a swing, and when my mom came to visit, she insisted on buying us one. It was such a lifesaver! He passes right out in it! My friend, who had her baby two months before me, gave a great piece of advice: make sure that you have LOTS of places to put the baby down in. If they don't like one, they will surely like one of the others!

I loved my bassinet and I used my pack n play to take to my mom and grandma's when I was back to work. My oldest didn't care for the swing much so I used the bouncer while doing dishes and taking a bath where as my 2nd loved the swing and would sleep a couple hrs at a time in it, so it all depends on baby.

An ergo or any type of carrier/wrap. Everything else was take it or leave it, but it really depends on babies personality. My first wanted to be close 24/7.

bouncer.. A bouncer is a must so the baby can be near you in the bathroom or kitchen etc.

I used a co sleeper till 6 months and crib for naps, LOVED my rock n play so much that I had 2...perfect for the bathroom when I was getting ready. She also really loved her swing. I didn't use the bouncer at all...the rock n play or swing was way better. Also, they're higher so I liked it that she wasn't on the floor.

I have four children, soon to be five and I lived by the swing woulda died without the swing! As a matter of fact I have two for this one, an infant swing and one for when she gets a little bigger!

Well you don't really need the bassinet and the pack n play - if the pack n play has the bassinet feature. I used my rock n play like a bassinet until my baby was big enough for his crib. I would definitely get a swing. I used my bouncer a lot too - because it was portable - I took it in the bathroom when I needed to shower or outside with us. If you got a portable swing - you could use that instead.

I have a swing that the car seat goes in. It was a lifesaver.

Definitely the bouncer! It was a life savor...I put my baby in the bouncer in the bathroom while I showered and played peekaboo with her. I also used it while bathing other children cooking dinner and doing laundry.
