2nd operation. Yay or nay?

Question

I was diagnosed with endometriosis at 18 during an investigative laporoscopy but have previously been diagnosed with PID (I think this was the endo because it took a further 2 years of false diagnosis before they did op) I went back to my gynaecologist and they have recommended I have another laporoscopy and my tubes checked. 
When I have spoken to people about this they have said I'm going to cause myself more problems with scar tissue etc.. 
I'm 23 and been ttc for 6 months with no joy. Any one got any advice?

I had my 2nd laparoscopy on 9/1/15 && got a bfp today!! :) I'd say go for it!!

If you are TTC, endo can be blocking your tubes or leaving adhesions on your uterus or cysts on your ovaries. Not having the surgery guarantees no conceiving if there is a problem. Start with an HSG test just to see if your tubes are clear. Start there.

Oh and everyone has an opinion about this but they're not drs. The benefits would outweigh the risks otherwise the dr wouldn't have recommended it. And ask a trillion questions until you're satisfied! ☺

It's worth it imo. Theres no way of telling how far the endo has got any other way. I personally wasn't in any less pain and my endo symptoms didn't subside. But i did conceive. GL. Let us know what you decide ☺
