What truly teaches the children?

POLL QUESTION: Who/what, in your opinion, is most responsible for a child's way of thinking?

I know it's generally a combination of all these things, but who/what do you think is MOST responsible?

OTHER SEMI-RELATED QUESTIONS: 
Is it different depending on region/country? Are there differences between demographics (ie, sex, religion, race)? When a child has VERY wrong ideas where does it come from? When a child messes up who is to blame?

I'm just curious what you guys think :)

All. Everything. Everything teaches, but an individual mind is free to interpret it.

I think the parents play a major role in the way a child acts, but a child is his/her own person. The parents can't control every little thing the child does, no matter how they're raised. I know some awesome parents who have some terrible kids, and some awful parents who have amazing kids. I'm in between with the parents and the child itself.

Parents. If you bring them up in a certain way, the things you teach them will always be in the back of their mind. Even in school, as young children we trust our parents most and everything they say.

Eventually, like once they move on their own , they'll develop their own way of thinking but still they'll mostly retain the things you taught them.
