Pain during sex during ovulation?

My husband and I got married two weeks ago, I went off my birth control, and we are starting to try for a baby. I just downloaded this app a week ago and added my last period so I could start tracking my ovulation. We've been active every other night during my fertile window which is currently now.

We had sex two nights ago, and again last night. Both times I had a bit of pain during intercourse... I rarely get pain like this. It hurt pretty bad but by the time it hurt the most, it was a matter of 10-20 seconds before we stopped.

Could this be happening due to ovulation or should I check with the doctor soon? My mom had fibroids when she was younger and during her pregnancy with me. I know you can have pain with fibroids. I hope I
Can still get pregnant even if there's something wrong such as having fibroids.

Anyone else have pain during intercourse maybe during ovulation or at all and know the reason for it? I haven't had pain during sex in so long - maybe a year and when that happened, it was random and went away

Your cervix is lower during ovulation.  He may be hitting it.  It can be a little uncomfortable, but he won't hurt anything.  Obviously, go together doctor if you experience really sharp pain or bleeding.

So obviously you should check with a doctor, but I had painful periods, pain during sex and pain during ovulation and it ended up being endometriosis. I just had surgery for it. It was making it difficult for us to conceive. That's always something you could check in to.
