Do dreams really have meanings?

I'm currently in a serious relationship but I have no kids nor am I planning on a family any time soon. I had a dream I was holding a baby boy,(which was my son) very cute with a beautiful smile and huge blue eyes. What caught my attention is that I actually remember exactly what he looked like, unlike other times. Every time I dream of people I don't know, I usually cannot see their faces, but this baby's face I cannot get out of my head. Is there a meaning to this?

I was about 3 months pregnant and hadn't announced anything about it to any friends.  One of them messaged me one day saying she dreamt I was pregnant.  Lol I told her I was and she felt pretty psychic lol

So, I believe in God and prayer and that he speaks to us. For me, my answers or even things I haven't prayed about have come in dreams. I cannot tell you how many times I've dreamed very specific things and then seen it happen in my life. One example is the man I'm married too. I was ending a tumultuous relationship and had been praying a lot and asking "why" and I had a dream where me and my "husband" we're in a park, watching our kids play and laughing. We were so happy. I didn't know why I'd have that dream when I was going through something so hard. Fast forward to meeting my husband. It was our third date when that dream came flooding back into my mind and I realized that the man I was with was the man in that dream. Fast forward to a year later when we were discussing possibility of getting married and he drove me into a community that was near where he lived (I'd never seen it before). It was the place I dreamed about where we were watching our children run and play. Needless to say, we are married and talking about living in that community in the future. Recently we suffered a late miscarriage of our son. Two days before we found out he passed, I had a dream about our baby girl. I saw her face, I knew her name (and her name was one neither of us had thought of yet or talked about- we were waiting to find out the gender of our baby). When we found out our son had passed I was distraught. What gives me hope is that God has spoken to me through dreams in the past and shown me things will be okay, hopefully he sent that dream to me knowing we lost our son and wanting to give us somethig to look forward to. . . So, do dreams have meaning? I absolutely believe they do!

You cannot dream about someone you haven't already seen. Be it a stranger you passed on the street or a picture you saw on the Internet. You have seen that baby somewhere before, it could even have been a photo of you as a baby. Dreams are our memories mushed up together and reflections on our feelings. Not predictions just as Deja vu is tiredness caused by the brain recording the same image twice, making you think it's already happened before
