Heartburn?

Has anyone had heartburn or acid reflux that they only felt in their throat and lungs/ribs? My chest never really gets right.

I can't sleep at all because the heartburn is so bad.  I have to sleep halfway sitting up :(

Every single night I take tums and if I know it's going to be bad I will take a Zantac.

Yes, I had to sleep in our recliner/glider in the baby's nursery last night

I live on Zantac. Without I'm throwing up acid and absolutely miserable.  I take two 150mg per day plus tums.

Has anyone woken up in the middle of the night actually choking from reflux? This happened to me last night and freaked me out. 😬 Oh pregnancy, I will not miss you. So ready for our girl to be here.

I've fought heartburn for the entire pregnancy, popsicles help a lot. I don't care for medicine that much but if popsicles don't work I use tums. It gives me just enough relief to deal with it.

That happens to me if I eat too much, or eat then lie down right away. I feel like the food is stuck in my throat. Zantac helps sometimes, but I usually have to take something stronger like nexium and a few tums. My doctor said you should wait about 45 minutes after eating to lie down....I really need to start taking her advice!

I get freaked out because I never feel it in my chest. Only in the throat and my ribs/lung area. I was worried it wasn't heartburn because it wasn't in my chest

Yes...Zantac really helped out a lot for a long time slowly over time I think my body got used to it so my doctor suggested I switch to a different otc antacid so I got Prilosec and it has been a total lifesaver!!!! Good luck
