Do you have it planned when you'll ttc?

Question

My boyfriend and I decided that in the beginning of 2019 we will actively try to conceive and have a baby by 2020.  I'll be 24 at that point and he'll be 29. We'd probably be married for a year and a half at that point. It of course depends on jobs and finances.

What about you guys? It seems so far away but I know time will fly.

When I was a teen I wanted to be done having kids by 25.  Well things didn't work out. My bf and I broke up. I decided to go to college. At 25 I said ok I'll have kids before 30. The guy I was with was the one. Until he became abusive. So I ended up getting married at 30 and our first baby at 32. You can't plan everything out. Sometimes you gotta go with the flow.

Me and my husband started ttc when we felt we were ready and I quit the pill. I just turned 23 and he was 26 at that time. I figured I would be a mom at 23/24. But things didn't go as planned and I didn't ovulate on my own so I got medications from my doctor. Now my baby is due one week before I turn 26. What I'm trying to say is that you can't really plan when you have kids cause things might not go the way you thought they would.

Yep, waiting for husband to turn 30 then I'm pouncing. I'm already 30 and have medical issues to deal with, so I'm basically spending the year prepping my body for pregnancy. Healthiest for me and any potential baby for us.

I was exactly the same, in my teens i always said i wanted to be done having kids by the time i was 23, when i got to 23 i had only been with my now husband for a year, but there was noway I was ready for children, i would then say i wanted to have my family by the time im 30, im now 28 married for over a year and have been ttc for the last 3 months! I know that i will be having babies into my 30s now but im ok with that! Just hope this happens soon. Sometimes when you plan too much it never works out that way, let nature take it's course ;)

I wanted to have kids by 27/28..... Well here I am at 28 and after a year an a half of ttc and on m/c I'm still trying.... You just can't plan somethings

I planned. I always felt like 24 was a good age for me. Now that I'm here, it seems unreal! All that waiting and here I am!! I graduated college, work in my field, I'm married and we live on our own (: TTC has commenced! I think it's good you're planning
