Anyone else have Subchrionic Hematoma?

Anyone else experience this before or now during pregnancy? I was diagnosed with it Sunday when I started bleeding, and was told to be a threatened miscarriage.  Baby is ok but my worry is the heartbeat went from 173 to 162 to 158....is this normal? I was told that it was, and that the more the baby grows the slower the heartbeat will be. I've had two other pregnancies and neither where like this. As of today, I can feel the baby move. I am exactly 13 weeks. The bleeding stopped Wednesday and I don't feel no more pain. Ladies, I need some suggestions!!!!

I had one...at 8 weeks....was on bedrest and bled until 12 weeks it disappeared on its own. Goodluck xx

I had this bleeding and I was really worried too. Even my baby's heart rate dropped from 170 to 150. It's all normal as doctor says. Be positive!

I had one at 6w and the doctor said I would lose the baby. I carried on spotting for about a week and it became heavy spotting. The following week the bleeding stopped, I had another scan and the blood sac was gone and baby was still there doing very well.  It doesn't always end badly, think positive xx

I had a big bleed on Monday. (This is my 3rd baby and I have never had this before). I had 2 ultrasounds and cervix and baby look great, so she told me to rest for a week and then slowly go back to normal.. So they didn't tell me the cause.. It was a big gush of bright red blood, I thought I was losing the baby!

I also was diagnosed on Sunday at 11 weeks. Er doc wanted me on bedrest for 3 days. My OB wrote for me to be off work 1 week since I have a strenuous job, but said bed rest wasn't necessary. From what I have read some doctors will order bedrest for 2 weeks some not at all. There aren't any studies to show that bedrest improves outcomes. And there really isn't anything to be done. Some women go on progesterone if there is concern for a thin lining or have a history of iud.

They are actually pretty common. All the women I've known that have had them, they disappeared by 2nd trimester.

I've had two friends with this...one was early on and she went on to have a healthy child...another found out at 39 weeks her son had passed away and would be stillborn. Your dr should monitor you closely
