IUD with a Unicornuate uterus

So I'm heading to my gyno tomorrow to talk about my post op results and stuff (I had laparoscopic surgery sept 18 for removal of a second uterus and blocked Fallopian tube along with some stage one endo and ovarian cysts and they had to unstick half my organs from my abdominal wall because it's a mess in there) and I'm contemplating asking for an IUD (Mirena) but I'd like some opinions of people or share your experiences with me if you've had an IUD with a UU! I've googled and seen mixed reactions but I have literally tried just about every birth control out there and none work for me. Thanks!
