Tandem stroller suggestion?

I have a 2 year daughter and baby number 2 is due in May. My daughter is tall and all the strollers I've looked at are too short for her legs and don't lay back. I can't afford the 1,000 dollar tandem strollers. Any suggestions for two baby strollers for toting my children around?

Im going to buy the graco room 4 2. Its a baby stroller and toddler stroller in back but the back us just a bench seat so the older child can sit or stand. Its around $300 altogether for stroller and carseat. But holds 100lbs!

I struggled with that question when we were expecting our second too. We didn't have any money to invest in one. My aunt ended up getting us one from a mom2mom sale, but it was so heavy even empty that we hardly ever used it. What turned out to work best for us was to use a single for our oldest and I wore the baby. That was so much easier! Eventually, when the baby was too big to wear, our oldest was big enough to walk on his own, and when he gets tired we just put the back down flat and have him sit behind his little brother. Of course their age difference worked for this (4 and almost 2), I understand that wouldn't work for all. Good luck!

I'm in the same boat. Don't want to spend a fortune when we already have a bob and umbrella stroller which will be worthless come May. Hopefully someone has an affordable suggestion!
