Tubal?

Question

Anyone else have a tubal? If so what type? Clips? Cut? Burnt? How are you feeling? Any side effects?

So I had a tubal in 2009 and have had pelvic pain since along with very heavy periods. I just had both tubes removed as there is a higher rate of ovarian cancer in post-tubal women. 
The doctor isn't sure if the symptoms are from my tubal or possibly from the Mirena IUD that was placed and ruptured completely through my uterus as it was inserted back in 2008.

Regardless, completely removing your tubes is recommended more now because of the ovarian cancer risk.

I had my tubes clipped after my babies had been born because I had a c-section and they were able to do everything at once. I haven't noticed any side effects of it and I feel normal!

I had my tubes burned 8 weeks pp. Procedure was quick and easy and I was home an hour later. That afternoon I felt totally fine (but kept up on my pain meds as advised and hubby didn't let me do ANYTHING). The next two days I had a lot of neck, shoulder, and abdominal muscle pain like I'd worked out REALLY hard. That was the only pain I ever had. It's from the muscles getting stretched with the gas they use to inflate your abdominal.

I'm 4 days out from surgery and starting to feel much better.. only I had hernia surgery as well and that is the only source of pain for me..it seemed like a simple procedure, and I was terrified but I was awake and headed home within an hour of going into the OR. Only meds I have been taking is tylenol and advil.
