Hysteroscopy

Anyone ever had to have a hysteroscopy to remove a polyp off uterus?? Dr found one and wants to remove it doing this outpatient surgery but said I could wait a cycle before I did it to see if it goes away. We done 2 rounds of Ivf that haven't taken and this has to be gone before we can try again. The polyp wasn't there a few months ago but he's not sure when it came and can't help but wonder if it's stopped the embryos from implanting. He feels better doing the surgery to remove it cause then he knows it's all gone. Just wondering pros and cons if you have had one?
