Aspirin and Progesterone

Hey ladies i just lost our baby in sept (3rd miscarriage) and had the d&c in october. My dr says this pregnancy has shown that i have a real problem. He sent my husband and i for genetic testing. But he also said he wants me to take baby aspirin for my next pregnancy. He also left it up to me to take progesterone as well. So my question is did/does baby aspirin help your pregnancies? and in your opinion should i take the progesterone as well?
