So idk if this has anything to due to religion but im Catholic and my mom is Christian. And just right now we just got into a argument....

The argument began becus she saw a comment on FB about this girl having fun drinking with her friends and she said, " Ugh, you dont need to drink to,have fun!" Which i partly agree but i told here there is nothing wrong to,drink once una while on the weekends. She started off with me,saying people who drink are drunks,,which kinda offended me cus i like to,drink once in a while on the weekends. I hate the fact that she thinks like this....Because of things like this when u was growing up i wouldn't tell her things and when i become a mom i was the confidence for my daughter to tell me things. I brought up,the subject that God in his time he would drink wine and she was say people would use that as a excuse to drink uncontrollably. I know my mom is very conservative but idk what to say to her anymore...I wish she would have a little bit of a open mind so i can open up to her about certain things.....

Any opinions, and please no rude comments about my mom i am trying to open up here.....
