Bandage a burn or leave to dry?

So I've burnt my hand (superficial but blistered) well it got scrubbed and banaged up (work made me go hospital as thier work protocol) and I'm thinking that it should be left to air dry not be wrapped up in a bandage to sweat and stay wet. Am I right? I have to go back next week to get dressing removed they said it wasn't hospital worthy but good job I was sent anyway just to be safe.

Should I remove bandage and let air dry or leave it on?

I had a 3rd degree burn on my leg from a motorcycle exhaust and it hurt like hell to change the bandage. They told me to leave my bandage on so I didn't get an infection.

It did blister but the nurses scrubbed it (they said if the pop it that helps with healing and stops infection)

Give it some air and apply aloe Vera Gel it works like magic. I'm a clumsy cook always burning myself I'm not very far from aloe Vera

I bandaged mine when I burnt my hand, arm and wrist. But i was also setting up a store. And around people who were inexperienced with box cutters and we had constant injury in the building. So I kept that covered. I was also still waitressing at the time and didn't want customers to see an open burn.

I think your supposed to let burns breath and not get them wet. 
I should know i get burnt all the time but i honestly cant remember. Lol. 
I just burnt my thumb the other day and i ahd a bandaid on it bc i work in a kitchen but it was like soaked. I took the bandaid off after a day and it looked alot better after it got some air.
