Chlamydia burning sensation and other questions

If we have chlamydia (got treatment already) and now use condoms to have sex, may I still get the burning sensation? I though that I would only feel that way if we do it without protection. What causes the burning sensation then? The friction? Why have my vagina gotten tighter than ever before? It causes pain when penetrating, the same pain as if it was the first time, and then it goes away once it's completely inside.
