Ideas on how to occupy an injured pup?

My husband took a tumble onto our 6-month-old pup, Scarlett, and broke her foot on the outside metatarsal.   We have to keep her immobilized for 8 weeks.  We have a 1 1/2 year old shepherd mix and all they want to do is play.  Any suggestions to keep her occupied and still?  She has pain meds and sedatives and a crate but she just wants to run and jump with her older brother.

Put some pb or a piece of cheese in a god Kong toy and put it somewhere and it will entertain her for hours if it's got on and with the cheese less time because the cheese easier to get

We get the long empty marrow bones, fill it up with PB and canned pumpkin. Freeze it for a few hours they love it!

Definitely the Kong idea... And gonna have to crate her a lot of te time too, which will be tough with the other dog running around... Keeping her in the crate and in the room with you will make it less stressful on her though so she won't feel separated.

Awww. Poor baby. :( I agree with the other poster, try using a kong or another hollowed out dog toy and put either cheese or peanut butter in there. That might keep her preoccupied.
