What all is needed postpartum?

I know I'm going to need pads (not sure what type is best though?), a peri bottle, hemorrhoid cream 😢, flushable wipes (not exactly needed but I got some because I know they will be a little better than just tp)...I'm breastfeeding so I got linolian ointment and breast pads...but what am I missing?

Dermoplast if you tear. I keep it by the toilet and spray my stitches when I'm done using the restroom. It has really helped. Blue bottle, not red.

Get the overnight pads :) they work better for pp bleeding. Hospital should provide you with a peri bottle but I recommend Tucks pads! They have witch hazel on them and take the sting out of any hemroid issues.

Make padsicles!! Google for exact instructions but all ya do is get a pad, put witch hazel and aloe on them, put in freezer.... make them ahead of time and keep them for after delivery, you will be happy you made them 😉

You pretty much have it covered. I agree with getting some tucks pads, also I didn't bleed a ton so I got some smaller pads because the hospital sized ones get annoying. Also the day after birth, I asked the nurses for a donut to sit on, it helps a ton.

Other good things to have:
- Huge bottle of ibuprofen 
- Tissues
- Dry shampoo
- Lanolin if breastfeeding
- Granola bars / snacks for middle of the night breastfeeding
- Something to make yourself feel pretty in the first two sleepless weeks! (New makeup, nailpolish, outfit, etc)
