First Pregnancy...Miscarriage
Miscarried our baby yesterday. Was about 9 weeks but they had been measuring 6 weeks. Was our first pregnancy and we are devastated. I never thought I would experience anything like this.
Started cramping last Saturday. Cramps got worse and had light spotting Sunday afternoon. Turned into decent amount of red blood Sunday night/early Monday morning. We panicked and went to the ER. Got blood work and ultrasounds done. Levels looked good but heart rate was a little low.
Was on bedrest next couple of days. Was still bleeding lightly but attributed it to all the exams and probing. Woke up yesterday morning to pee and passed a huge blood clot. I panicked and we went to the hospital. Had to wait about an hour to be seen and soaked through several pads. The clots just kept coming. I was terrified and had never experienced anything like this.
We were treated like shit by most hospital staff, which didn't help how we felt. We prepared and had a feeling we knew what was happening. But when they told us we broke down.
I can't stop crying. I feel sad, angry, numb, and also somewhat relieved. My husband and I have been leaning on each other so that helps.
They said I had a complete miscarriage. I am just bleeding more like a period now. Follow up with doctor tomorrow. I'm scared and hope it goes ok.
