Hormone levels?

You all keep mentioning hormone levels in context of trying to conceive again post miscarriage.. 
Please tell me how in the world are you monitoring your levels?

Regular visits to the on/gyn.

Bloodwork 1-2 times per week until it was below 5.  After my ectopic it took me a month to get to zero.

Took cheap pregnancy tests after I had my D&C and it was negative and that's how I knew

My doctors aren't tracking my levels. I bought cheap pregnancy tests and am testing a couple times a week. The lines are getting super faint. I had a d&c...not sure if that makes a difference.

i took a test 2 weeks after my miscarriage. and it was a bfn
