Satanism?

Question

If satanism isn't devil worshipping then what is? People always say satanism is about fulfilment and when people say they worship the devil they're like no we don't so I'm confused. Thanks for participating!

There are two satanistms (that I am aware of).

There are satanists who do believe in things like gods and Devils and demons and Angels, and they choose to follow Satan because they see him as a liberator. 
There are satanists, commonly referred to as atheistic satanists or their "creators" name, LaVeyan satanists which don't believe in any deities, Devils, Angels, or demons. They do choose self fulfillment so long as it's for the good of yourself and your loved ones. 
People like to focus on how it's selfish and egotistical, but think about it. It calls you to do what's best for yourself. While it does say partaking in carnal desires and what is commonly referred to as "sins" it also speaks out against self harm, suicide, harmful behavior like drugs and being unhealthy (things that aren't good for one's self).

I haven't done extensive research on it, but satanism (in general) is exactly what you said - it's about self fulfillment and loving yourself. It seems many satsnists are even agnostic or athiest because you don't need to believe in a deity to love yourself.
