Is self pleasure morally or spiritually wrong?

So I know this is probably a silly question for most people but it really is something that bothers me and I have struggled with it. Is self pleasure wrong? I just feel wrong sometimes about it and wanted others opinion. I know to even say it, it sounds silly, but I feel like I can't be close to God if I do things like that. Anyone else?

There's nothing in the bible that talks specifically about masterbation.. However if you feel convicted by it, that's the Holy Spirit telling you that you shouldn't be doing it.. Hope that helps. I'll pray for clarity😊

Yea I self pleasure myself while I'm with my husband but in the past when I did it on my own I felt like I was hiding and felt sinful. I believe private masterbation opens up doors of lust outside your marriage and also takes away the need you have for your spouse.

it isnt in the bible so it isnt a sin.  if ur fantasin about anyone other than ur SO then ur thoughts r a sin. dont let some "christian" makeup a scripture that it is wrong when it clearly isnt in bible.
