Conceiving while having fibroids?

Hi ladies, I just had a ttc talk with my gyn and I have a few fibroids, one of them is 6cm, has anyone gotten pregnant with fibroids before? My doc told me to try but I'm scared of getting disappointed

I had 3 fibroids when I conceived. I'm 19 wks pregnant and one of them has grown dramatically in size, but it's not interfering with my baby. My OB is just watching it and keeping track of it as we proceed. As long as a fibroid isn't blocking your Fallopian tubes or cervix, you should conceive just fine.

I had a fibroid that was the size of the top of my pinky. So not as large as 6 cm. but it is getting bigger since I've been pregnant. In the ultra sound I asked "why does the baby look like it is holding a balloon?" The ultra sound tech said the fibroid was growing and pushing into my uterus! They're so weird.

All the women in my family have had fibroids, including myself. We've all had children. My fibroid was removed during my c section because it was at the incision line.
