Gunner William 11/11/2015

Bailee
Gunner William was born via c-section on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 9:35pm. After a foley induction, extremely high doses of pitocin, two attempts at breaking my water (second attempt finally worked), a slowly progressing labor, a failed epidural, and stumped doctors as to why my labor wouldn't progress... He came out weighing 10 pounds 14.7 oz and 23 1/4 inches long and SHOCKED everyone! He is the second biggest baby born at our hospital in 18 years- biggest for weight and height, but second biggest for weight- and the biggest baby our doctor ever delivered. Needless to say, his size is exactly why my labor couldn't, and wouldn't, progress. If, somehow, I would have had him naturally, he would have shattered both of his collarbones/shoulders and I would have been "destroyed" to put it lightly. After not wanting a c-section, I am very glad I did! So in love with our big "little guy"!
