Pink Eye Help!
Ugh, this could not have come at a worse time.
Yesterday, my husbands eye was irritating him from the second he put his contacts in until he went to sleep. So, since it started hurting when he put them in, he assumed it was something to do with them.
Well, last night was his best friends funeral visitation, so he was crying, which only seemed to irritate it. His eyes burn when closed, are swollen, red, watery, nose won't stop running, and this morning he had a lot of crust over them when he woke up.
To me, it sounds like pink eye. We've been keeping cold compresses on it, and have some regular eye drops but is there anything we can take over the counter since his eye doc is closed?
Oh I just hate this. He got asked to be a pallbearer and felt really honored that he was asked. Would it be ok if he still attended the funeral? If he keeps his hands washed and used tissues on his eyes and not his hands?
