Question

last year I had sex with my SO, there was a chance that I could have been pregnant because I had missed a few pills! I told him that my period was late  and he refused to talk to me until I had my period.. I was way too scared to take a test or go to the doctors on my own and felt like I had nobody.. I had just turned 17 so the only other thing I thought I could do was take a load of my pills at once hoping it would have the same effect as the morning after pill ..I regret it so much! Because I can't help thinking that I could have had a little baby inside me .. I just don't know??

Hun, if that was a year ago then obviously there is no way that you will ever know if you were pregnant or not. You made a choice because you were scared and had no support. Stressing and worrying about it wont get you anywhere now im afraid. You have to move forward and forgive yourself for it as it was the best you could do at the time. If a similar situation were to arise now, know there are other options and hopefully you will have the support of family, friends and a good partner that wont turn their back on you. Ok, if I read this right, you were a few days late (thinking you may be pregnant), so then you took a bunch of bc pills.

This would not have caused an abortion. It would've made you really sick from too many hormones, but it wouldn't have aborted a baby.

Also, only a few progestins have the "Plan B" effect, so a lot of birth controls actually cannot work as Plan B even if you take a bunch. And if it was the correct birth control, you would've needed to take A LOT of pills for it to work... And taken it within 3 days of unprotected sex (not because you were late).

I'm sorry you felt pressured into doing that. That boy was complete a**hole to you. But, in regards to your thoughts, you didn't lose a baby. You were honestly just a few days late.

So I just googled this and a huge dose like more then 1 pack could prevent pregnancy but it's more likely to make you sicker then a dog then anything and it would all have to be taken within a few days of the sex if you waited till your period was late to take a bunch of pills and then you started it wasn't because of the pills you were probably late just because you were stressing your self out so much about it. You should use condoms if you can't remember to take your pill on time. And you can mess your hormones up taking a bunch of pills like that.

Just to give you some relief  bc pills would not abort a pregnancy and even if you took the plan b it would have been too late to be effective. I hope you are done with that boy

The morning after pill is only scientifically proven to delay ovulation long enough so that sperm die off. It does not abort a pregnancy. So stop worrying over nothing.
