Hair professional on here??? Anywhere please help?

Ok so not sure where to post this exactly so please don't rip my head off! Ok so I need some help/tips or advice. So here is the thing I am trying to grow my hair out but once it gets about shoulder top length it starts getting really bad with split ends so eventually I get mad and chop my hair again. Does anyone have advise on how to stop slit ends and being so fragile or atleast slow it down so my hair can grow? Any advice will be greatly appreciated and same with advice on how to grow it faster.
