Getting my wisdom teeth out soon. Is it bad? Am I going to say a ton of things I would rather not say? Will I get sick? Share your story please.

Its not that bad.. Take a couple days off of work. I guess while on the laughing gas and sedated I kept telling them not to hang my jacket in the community coat closet because I didn't want lice.. 😂😂. Do not remember that at all

It wasnt bad at all. Got all 4 ripped out. They knocked me out with some shot and took em out. Weirdest thing was sitting down, and falling asleep, and then waking up only a second later to find it had actually been an hour and my teeth were gone.

The stuff they gave me to knock me out didn't make me loopy or say weird things, I was just extra emotionally sensitive for the rest of the day. Ex: I started crying because I left my hoodie in the car.

One thing that sucked was for the next week or so I could only eat soft things. Anything like crust on bread or crackers or even chewy gummy bears was too hard for me to bite and hurt when I tried.

One thing they dont tell you about is the bone fragments. When you get your teeth pulled out, depending how deep they are as well, there will be bone fragments left in your gums that they just cant get. They will come out of your gums for the next month. Ex : I was earing at Red Lobster then I felt something kinda sharp in my cheek. Poked my tongue around there and felt a small shard of bone sticking out. Messed around with it with my tongue and finger and ended up pulling out a decently large bone shard.

It doesnt hurt and it doesnt make you bleed or anything to do that. Your body will naturally expel them from your gums. Sometimes theyll just need a bit of help being removed.

All depends on how much you swell. I got all 4 at once out and they gave me endone and some other steroids tablet and injection to ease thw swelling. I still was sore and couldn't open my mouth ect but i definitely worked myself up beforhand. You will be fine

I had local anesthetic and nitrous oxide  and it was all right. A little uncomfortable when they stitched but not unbearable by any stretch. No complications with recovery either. Never needed any strong pain meds.

I may be a rare one, but I got all 4 out at once with no issues. I'm very sensitive to anesthesia so I was out the entire time and an hour and a half after. They had to stick me in a dentist's office and wait for me to be conscious enough to leave. And then I wasn't even swollen. Some blood leaking but not as bad as some others I've seen that were puking blood. I had crazy thoughts on the anesthesia but I never said anything out loud. I was eating pretty normally within a couple of days. I got really lucky I think

I woke up several times during the removal of all 4. They had to sedate me four times so I was groggy nearly the entire recovery period.

I was in pain afterwards for a while. I cried an kept apologizing to the nurses who stayed  with ne handing me tissues  becuase  I was crying lol. That was over 10 years ago and I remember  lol. I was so groggy  my dad kept holding me up in the elevator ride doen. It's  not bad. I read  a lot of  books  lol in my down time.

I had to be put completely under to get mine out because they were so impacted. Woke up in the middle of the surgery but they quickly knocked me back out (scary!!!!) after it was all over with I was very emotional and crying. I got sick a little later that afternoon and was vomiting but took the medicine they gave me and was ok after that. Just be sure you follow all the after care instructions they give you carefully and you'll be fine :)

I was awake when they took mine out. Couple shots in my gums. At my dentist I was allowed to put headphones in so I would here the drilling or anything. All I felt was a little bit of pressure. I got my left side done first and I was nervous to eat anything then three months later had my right side and I was eating solid food the day after.

It's not that bad. I had shots in my gums, that's it. No laughing gas. The pain is tolerable but pretty significant when healing.
