Period? Late.. Pregnant?

It has been 6 days since I got my period. It ended 2 days ago. And it was short this time, 3 1/2 days only( usually it last 4 or 5). It was also late by 4 days this month (idk why). These past 2 days I have been staining brown in my underwear. It's a little bit but even when I wipe is brown. I think it's like old blood because it seems like it has happened once when I start my period only not when it ends. Anyone else has experience this ? 
It's wet and dark brown.

Your period might just be off this month. I had brown spotting instead of my period last month that lasted 7 days and not heavy enough for a pad/tampon just a liner. One week later had brown spotting with reddish brown for 3 days and again not heavy enough for a pad/tampon. I called my ob and they said if i don't get a normal flow this month they will do testing. But they said it could be due to stress or because I didn't ovulate. I took set real test and all bfn. 😫 So at this point it's just a waiting game. I hope this helps. Good luck!
