Tampon transitioning?

I'm no longer a virgin and I've decided to try tampons again. I'm currently using the U by Kotex mini's and they are perfectly fine and comfortable, and do not hurt at all. I've managed to get 3 hours of use out of one tampon and I'm 4 days Into my period.

I'm wondering if I'll be fine to try a larger size tampon and if so which one would be suitable without it hurting? Should it be fine for my body now that I'm sexually active with my SO? Would a super be too big and a regular fine? Please help!

The size of a tampon doesn't matter much. The idea is to use the lightest one you can, and change it more frequently. So if getting 3hrs out of each one works for you then you can stick with that. If you want to go a bit longer then go ahead and try a super. They're not that much bigger, really.

It doesn't matter with size really, just go by how heavy your flow is. And just because you use the super doesn't mean you can leave it in longer, I would still change it every 3 to 4 hours.

Use the next size up, tampons don't actually change the structure of your very muscular vaginal tract. If you're worried, do some kegals to keep your pelvic floor muscles including the vagina toned.
