Need help!

Okay, I tried posting this on FB and just got majorly judged for god knows why...

I have GD and so my baby is HUGE. He should be about 4.5lbs right now but is a whopping 6.6lbs currently. I am almost 35 weeks. Doc says from the looks of it, baby will be coming naturally between 36 and 38 weeks. His shoulders are massive. If I can't deliver him within an hour of pushing, I have to have a csection...which I am okay with since I had the chance to attempt a natural birth. He says that if I get past 38 weeks and he's still cooking inside, then I will have no other choice but to have a csection once baby decides to try to come out. Now my question is, or my seeking of advise is.... I don't want to get to the point where the ONLY option I have is to have a csection. What can I ask my doctor to do to avoid that? Can I suggest an inducement for 38 weeks? I don't want my only option to be a csection. I really need help here.
