Completely brown light period?

So, for the last two period cycles I've had, they've been dark brown and extremely light. I don't even fill one pad a day. I don't know if this is normal or not. If it helps, it's the first year of my period. Thanks!

Are you on any birth control? I have Nexplanon and this has been going on with me except I've done that everyday for the past 2 months. Every. Single. Day. It's so annoying.

They could literally be just light periods. When I first started getting my period they were brown and didn't last very long. Took a few months before they turned red and "heavy." If you're not having sex and you've only just started getting your period I wouldn't be too worried. Your body could just be adjusting to puberty still. If you're super worried ask your mom if she's available to you or go to a clinic and simply ask questions! :) good luck!
