What to expect, help dating with kids

Ok so the time has come, where my boyfriend wants to introduce me to his 3 daughters, they are 10, 8, & 6.. im great with kids so far but im so nervous as idk how they will react since their father has never introduced then to a woman hes dating after their mom, im so nervous they're not gonna like me or idk what should I expect or how should i act ? Im sorry I've never been this nervous in my life

Be yourself n don't talk down to them they may be young but they know what's going on n it will probably take a while for them to even start to like u but that's OK don't force them to cause it doesn't work if uve already been around kids before just act like u would around those kids don't make it such a big deal n they won't either

They may be nervous to meet you too so maybe just be honest and say "I'm really glad I get to meet you, to be honest I'm a bit nervous."  And then just try to be yourself and follow their cues. I'm sure you'll pick up on their body language and stuff once you're in the situation. Good luck!

Oh I just did this, I brought my black lab with me, I knew they loved dogs and I knew my dog loves kids, so that was an easy ice breaker, and then I just intoduced myself and my dog and then they started asking questions about my dog and it just kinda went from there, I say be honest and open minded! Good luck hun!!
