Ttc after a possible ectopic pregnancy

Ok so my last period was September 24th and I found out I was pregnant on October 25 and that it might be ectopic because my levels were low. My Hcg was a 87 and progesterone was a 2.3. I am able to try again in February but I am wondering if there is anything that would help with my levels for the next pregnancy? How do I get pregnant again? Should I take birth control for a month in a half then stop for a month the ttc? What do I need to eat and not eat? How long after a ectopic pregnancy and the shot methotrexate did it take to convince again?
