Placenta accreta

My mother has been diagnosed with placenta accreta. She is on pelvic rest and is not allowed to be standing for more than 15 minuets. At her scheduled c-section she will have a hysterectomy. She also has early signs of preeclampsia. Baby is fine perfectly health. But this pregnancy is taking a toll on her body. I was wondering if there were any women with the same problems? And how common it was to suffer from placenta accreta after multiple c-sections
