Anyone else freaking out about telling your parents?

I am so nervous!  I'm 4 and a half weeks and I'm hoping to tell my parents at Christmas. I live far away and don't get to see them much.

I am so worried that they'll freak out or be mad. I'll be 24 when the baby is born,  so I'm not THAT young. My husband and I were married before I got pregnant, but we are still newlyweds (very, very excited ones!). Financially, we are ready. We have plenty saved and my husband has a good job. We've agreed that I'll stay home for the next few years.

I am so worried they'll be upset and I can't handle anyone thinking that our baby was a mistake. Anyone else scared to tell?

I am sort of in the same boat! We're both 21, and just got married in september. This was a surprise baby for us. And we are announcing at Christmas too! We own our own home, are fully self sufficient, and both have decent full time jobs. 
We're still in school, I have 2 and a half years left, and my husband started school late and goes part time so he still has at least 4 years left. 
And I am still terrified to tell my family!! My mom has told us before that she regrets having kids (mainly because she had a terrible marriage to my father) but I know she might have something to say. 
We announced to my sister yesterday, and she freaked out and was incredibly nasty and it led to me sobbing on my bed wishing they would just leave. 
I'm trying to take it day by day, and to know that this baby (and yours as well!) will be a blessing regardless of what everyone says.

My mom already knows, but my father doesn't. I am terrified of telling him and I'm almost 26 years old.

I was married but only 21 when I got pregnant with my first. My family was all happy-- though some thought I was too young. Honestly, if they're not happy they should keep it to themselves because no reaction they have, good or bad, changes the fact that you have a little one on the way! I haven't told my family about my current pregnancy yet because the minute I do, my youngest will find out, and he is autistic so if I were to lose the baby for some reason (I'm 6w1d) he'd not be able to understand why I was having a baby and then suddenly no longer. But if it weren't for that-- I wouldn't hesitate. Your baby is wanted and loved, no matter how your family reacts!

I understand!  I'm 29, married 6 years, have 2 little girls and an amazing career. Im still a little nervous to tell my mom. I had a miscarriage in August and when I told my sister she rolled her eyes like she was annoyed. Weve been trying for our 3rd over 18 months and we're so excited, but definitely apprehensive about the reaction. Just remember that its your journey.  Your parents may not have the best initial reaction, but by the time baby's here they'll be ecstatic.  :)   Good luck!

Just do it! I had to tell my parents 2 years ago, they were upset, then I miscarried. Told them again last week, my dad gave the same reaction, but he'll get over it! No one can refuse those adorable little faces! Plus you just have to work hard to prove them wrong now!
