Is there a meaning for the colour you choose? Why do you pick the colour that you do and why choose fake over real/real over fake?

Colored trees are so gross. I have a real tree every year. Nothing compares to the house smelling like a real tree.

We have a large 7 ft fake green tree because we live in Hawaii. It's expensive to buy real trees here. It came pre-lit and switches from white lights to multi. I grew up with real trees and white lights (mom's anal about the tree) and my husband grew up with fake trees and multi lights. We picked this one because it fits the needs for both of us. Plus it's less of a cleanup. When we move back to the mainland next year I want to switch between real and fake trees. For this one we just put the tree scents in there to make it seem real.

I use a fake tree. I have three kids that touch it nonstop so a fake tree means less mess for me. Plus it's nice having it pre lit. I hate putting lights in trees lol. Mine is green. I think colored trees are tacky.

I choose a green on bc that's just what I like. I have to have fake though bc the real ones give me a headache.

We had a big green tree last year but it kept 'malting' which was so annoying! This year due to ours sons toys taking over the house we got a tall but slim pop up tree so it took up less space and easier all round. Its white with multi-coloured lights and baubles which came attached to it. We chose this over the green and gold because the lights were multi-coloured and our son would live the colours more 😊
