Im 40 weeks 3 days past due my baby is 9 pounds already am so nervous of my next doctor appointment

I had a 9lb9oz baby. It didn't destroy me at all and was actually a really easy delivery. C sections are painful to recover from. If I can I want to deliver all my babies natural.

I agree with what's been said. You aren't really late yet at all, and I'm sure your kiddo will be there soon.
Did your doc tell you 9lbs? Ultrasound estimates are rarely accurate and are usually over. Your baby is unlikely to actually weigh that much, and I doubt that birth will be any problem for you. Even if they are larger, the chances of it being a problem are remote. Your body knows what to do and your baby knows when to come. It will be soon and you will have that lovie in your arms before you know it!

Try not to stress. Baby will come when it is ready. Doctors often miscalculate the weight so try not to worry about that either. I'm planning on having a natural birth. C-section is a major surgery.

Honestly I've had two vaginal births and one section my csection was very easy to recover from I was back to work in 2 weeks my vaginal births were horrible it all depends on the person everyone's body is not the same I went thru hours of intense labor almost bled to death with both vaginal delivery im having my second csection on the 22nd and I personally don't care as long as baby n I are healthy

Try not to stress. If you can do it natural (with or without meds) healing time is much better but if they tell you a c-section is what's needed , follow their lead. If they are worried then it will most likely be a c-section but if not, you got this!!!

C-section is major abdominal surgery with a longer recovery. I really wish mine hadn't been necessary. I'm not allowed to drive, do many things around the house, or carry anything heavier than the baby, among other restrictions.
